Early Years Fundamentals Ltd is a research, training and consultancy company. Our work mainly centres on identifying and managing issues that affect outcomes for children and inspection outcomes. We do this by analysing hundreds of Ofsted inspection reports each term and then we share our findings with the sector.

If you haven’t come across us before, you may be familiar with some of our other work such as ‘101 audit questions to evaluate your practice and prepare for inspection’ which was published by Practical Preschool Books back in 2019. It quickly became a best seller and has become a firm favourite of many settings that have a strong reflective culture. Our insights into inspection trends have also been shared in many Nursery World articles and at Expos around the country.

Spring 2023 is an exciting time for us as we launch VEYA© – the UK’s first virtual early years advisory service.
